The "cuts" in this file were made by using 1-frame Move X animations on the objects. Different backgrounds and objects move in front of each other to make the cuts, although this is not noticable since the animation is only a frame long. The smoke blowing out of the cannon and the explosion of the tank at the end of the scene were both done using alpha-mapped walls with a scale-out animation. Picture Publisher was used to mask out the unwanted areas of the images. If you look closely, you will also see an alpha-mapped wall with a soldier in the first couple of frames of the animation and a wisp of clouds on an alpha-mapped wall drift past the zebra as he flies thorugh the air. The word bubbles near the end of the animation are simply soft boxes with a texture-mapped wall on the front face, where the text is mapped. The tank and cannon were entirely built using unedited primitives, although they were scaled down.
